Today, my special guest is Julie Foucht and her one problem is how people view money. Most people believe that money is a reward for your efforts. Julie Foucht is the author of Love-Based Feminine Marketing

My name is Avil Beckford. And I'm the host of The One Problem podcast. We know that there are tons of problems in the world. My guests come on and they focus on one problem, that's all. And it's a way for us to learn from each other. Now, my special guest today is Julie Foucht, founder of The Art of Feminine Marketing. I first learned about her on Instagram, and then we connected in her Facebook group. I've taken a few of her challenges. And she knows what she's doing. Over to you, Julie.

Thanks so much. I'm so excited to be here with you, Avil, and I think we should focus on money today. And when we talk about one problem, it's that people think that money comes from their efforts. You know, we're taught in society, go get a job and work really hard, and you'll get paid for that. And there's another side of money that very few people talk about, and that is the energetic place of money. It's the where are you coming from around money.

Because if you come from the ancestral belief, family belief, society's beliefs, that money is hard, that getting money is hard, that having money flow through you is hard, then money will be hard. And I was just on the phone with a client this morning, and she's like, I remember when we started working together and my highest self told me it would be easy and this is so stinking easy. That's what we want for money.

Interview With Julie Foucht: Where Does Money Come From?

We want to understand that the flow of money through us is really easy. Here's the truth. Money is an energy. It is the energy of appreciation. And we have decided to make it about dollar bills. Right. We have decided to say that this (Julie holds up a coin) has money energy within it. Really, it's just a little piece of silver stamped with some meaningful decorations to ascribe the energy of money to it. And understanding that money is an energy opens a door for us to be able to receive money differently.

Money as energy is a part of source energy and source is about love. Source energy is pure love in a way that we can only even begin to understand it. And when we understand that money is part of that source energy, then money is love, right? It's appreciation, it's love. Now, in our society, we've said money is evil or money is the root of all evil or the love of money is evil. And I just want you to wipe them out of your mind.

Money is actually an expression of love. And when we receive that expression of love, it's received in honor of our guests, in honor of what we have given and when we give if we can give with that same energy of I am giving out of appreciation for what you bring to me. You know, I give it the grocery store out of appreciation from the people who are there, stock the shelves and check me out and the farmers that grow, and the truck drivers that drive the produce from place to place, the products from place to place.

And when I spend my money with that energy of appreciation, it opens me to receive more. And so it becomes like somebody said recently and in one of our many challenges in the group, they said it becomes like this vortex that grows and gets bigger, attracting more money in as it flows out. It's not meant to stop, if you stop it with you and hold on to it, it stops the flow. But money is meant to be this constant flow through us of energy, of appreciation.

And so when I look at women, because I work with women exclusively, but women and men who think that money is about getting out there and doing hard labor, and it's hard to receive money, then I encourage them to really stop and ask the question, what if it could be easy? What if it could be about the flow? What if it's more about my energy and my connection to source, allowing source to bless me? And that doesn't mean that you don't have to take action sometimes. But it does mean that it starts with that space of connection and of allowing the flow to happen.

I think this is a really good message because people see that piece of paper or that coin and they ascribe a lot of meaning to it, you know, instead of what you are saying,  that money is energy. And this reminded me of a great book, The Energy of Money, so often the same book. So thank you so much, Julie, for taking the time to come and talk to us.
