Hi there. My name is Avil Beckford, and this is the latest episode of the One Problem podcast. We all know that there are tons of problems in the world, but why get overwhelmed? Let's tackle them one problem at a time. For those who watch and listen regularly, you know that most of the people who come on as guests I have some sort of prior relationship with them.
I met our guest today, Jane Lehman, on LinkedIn about four months ago, and we've kept in touch. So let me tell you a little about Jane. She provides small business owners with unlimited and affordable, qualified attorneys, and we know how that can be such an expense for small business owners. Over to you, Jane.

Thank you so much, Avil, and it's always a pleasure talking to you. The problem today is that small business owners and their employees don't know where to turn to help with problems. Too many people are asking their friends, family, and Facebook, what do you think I should do? That's not the place to go.
Usually the answer is going to be to talk to an attorney, and if it hurts, talk to your doctor. But this is specifically about helping small business owners understand all of those little things that happen every day. And you go to bed at night, and you're worried about this contract, that you're not sure what it says, but you don't know what to do with it. We don't want to have it reviewed because it costs so much.
We think we don't know what to do about this employee that we're about to hire. But we should talk to an attorney about it. Or issues with employees or issues with our clients. There are so many things. There are compliance issues. The laws are changing daily for small business owners, and we all know that. But we don't know where to turn. We're there to find a resolution not to moan and complain about the things that you have every day. And we don't want you to just keep stirring the pot. We want you to take the lid off and dump that pot out. And we're going to clean the pot for you, if you will. We want business owners to love what they're doing. You love your business and you did it for a reason.
You might be employed in a company, and you did that for a reason. Perhaps you love that company, and you have rights all along the way. And we want women to know that they are empowered, and men, of course. Everyone has the right to pick up the phone and talk to an attorney anytime they wish.
