While browsing Pinterest, I noticed some pins with the caption Monthly Reading Challenge. I clicked through to learn more and thought the idea was brilliant. People often get overwhelmed when a goal feels too big. So, it's important to break it down into manageable chunks.
Why wouldn't you apply that same thinking to an annual reading challenge? It's a collection of monthly reading challenges. At the beginning of every year, there are a slew of reading challenges for people to participate in. That's a good thing because it gets more people reading books.
But more people would probably complete them, if they focused on one month at a time. The activity will seem less daunting. Imagine how many books you'd read during the year when you focus on the books you're reading each month.
My Performance Accelerator Plan is a paid, adult reading challenge. It's very different from the free ones. When you participate, you learn the skills you need to thrive in 2020 to 2022. Additionally, you'll get an understanding of intercultural awareness because you're also reading the world. The plan lasts for 12 months with weekly and monthly requirements.

For each monthly reading challenge, you'll read five books, for a total of sixty books in 52 weeks. And you won't spend all your free time reading books. At the start of the Performance Accelerator Plan, you'll learn how to digest the average non-fiction book in 30 to 60 minutes. Imagine how much time you'll save by learning this one strategy.
When you glance at the reading requirements below, each monthly challenge will appear like any other ordinary reading challenge. However, participants are reading diverse books across multiple disciplines. And they're reading intentionally to learn, just like the most accomplished individuals.
Participants get weekly emails reminding them which types of books to read. They can take an assessment test after reading each book to determine how much of what they read they remember. And they're reminded to pick out big ideas and so much more.
Applying what they learn from the books they read is a big part of the Performance Accelerator Plan.
