The 3 Gaps: Are You Making a Difference?
How consistent are you at doing the key things that matter to you? Keeping a current blog is very important to me. When I started blogging, I committed to writing blog posts for The Invisible Mentor at least three times a week. I would say that 90 percent of the time I have honored that commitment. Some of the times I did not honor the commitment because of extraordinary factors, such as the death of loved ones. This summer, I committed to reading certain books, and blogging consistently. I haven’t blogged as consistently as I wanted, but I have a good reason that I will explain shortly. But before I do, here are some must-read articles I wrote that you may have missed. The include: The 3 Gaps, Negotiating Skills Tips, How to Get Attention for Your Business, How to Grow Your Business Fast and much more.
As many of you know already, I went to a conference for women entrepreneurs in Dallas, Texas. One of the things I learned from Sandra Yancey, is that it’s important to create products to sell. And that you should consider everything as a product. I have been working on a few products, at different levels of completion, for some time now. I am applying what I learned at the conference. With that in mind, instead of writing so many blog posts, I am investing some of the time in creating products. To gain financial freedom, you must diversify your income. Even if you are gainfully employed, you MUST have an extra source of income. In another blog post, I will write about what I am doing. I’m not sure if they will all work, but I am taking steps toward financial freedom. Most of what I am doing, is very different from my day job. I am working on a side hustle. What would your side hustle be?

The 3 Gaps by Hyrum Smith – My Thoughts
The 3 Gaps by Hyrum Smith – My Thoughts: Hyrum Smith delivered a talk about The 3 Gaps. I must admit that this session influenced me the most out of all the sessions I attended at the conference. He told us that The USA has a constitution, a set of governing values, that is used to make decisions. He went on further to say that each of us should have our own personal constitution. A set of governing values. And you should also create a constitution for your family, and even for your business. I liked his session so much that I bought his book, The 3 Gaps. The post I wrote is about his book. I wanted to learn how to actually write a personal constitution. But I didn’t stop there, The 3 Gaps by Hyrum Smith gave me all the information I needed to write my own personal constitution. And I spent seven hours writing my personal constitution. It’s making a difference, because I am referring to it a lot. I recommend that you write your own set of personal values to guide every decision you make. Even if it’s some of the decisions are about your career.
