Where Have All the Women Gone?

This year is the Year of Reading Women, March is National Women's History Month and March 8th is International Women's Day. Since 2014 started, I have followed a theme, this month being Black History Month, I have celebrated the month with mini biographies of blacks who made important contributions, and I have two more profiles to present. And looking back, I have conducted many interviews with successful women, and since I have many new subscribers, I am including some of those interviews, but I will focus on five women who had the courage to make major changes in their lives. Today, these women are phenomenally successful – they spread their wings and soared. What can you learn from these invisible mentors?

In more than a year, I haven’t had many interviews on the blog even though they are supposed to be a big part of it. I do not like transcribing, and couldn’t motivate myself anymore to do them, so I outsourced the function. In March, I will present four new interviews. Additionally, I will be celebrating the year of reading women so tomorrow I will focus on the books we are reading together for March so that you can select the ones that you'd like to read from the list. And since I have read many classics literature written by women, I am listing a few here so than you may enjoy them again. Or perhaps, since it is the Year of Reading Women, you may want to celebrate the occasion for more than a month.

Although there are only 4.6 percent of women CEO at Fortune 500 companies, today and for the month of March  we are paying tribute to women. Where have all the women gone? They haven't gone anywhere!
