Is the Business Knowledge Accelerator Program the right leadership development program for you if you want to accelerate your career?
For the past four days, I’ve shared with you a list post; “5 Things You Never Knew about Reading Books”, “How I Came to Teach Professionals How to Read Selectively to Accelerate Their Business”, “5 Common Reading Mistakes You Don’t Realize You’re Making”, and “Before And After You Learn How to Read Selectively.” You’re definitely in the right place if you want to read more books, but not spend all day reading.
If you are still on the fence about investing in the Business Knowledge Accelerator Program, I’d like to share some feedback with you from professionals who have participated in some of my other leadership development programs.
What Others Are Saying About The Invisible Mentor Programs
Avil's approach to learning from business books is game-changing! I buy more books on sales and leadership than I can ever find time to read. What I learned from her course was how to properly evaluate if a book will advance my highest priority goals. Then, once I have selected the right book, I can now quickly pull out the essential information relevant to me. It sounds simple, but you need a method and some discipline to do it right. I will read the majority of business books her way going forward. Thanks, Avil!

I enjoy learning & professional development in any capacity, but let’s face it, life is busy and day-to-day tasks can get in the way of tackling some of the bigger development goals we set for ourselves.
Avil’s reading challenges and Invisible Mentoring philosophy make it possible to dig deep into one or many areas of development in a way that I can truly fit into my life. The read 30 books in 30 days challenge has changed the way I read to acquire knowledge.
I have benefited tremendously from these challenges and I have found great value in Avil’s guidance while participating, and you will too!

What followed after was an invitation to join her “Read 30 Books in 30 Days Reading Challenge”. I didn’t think it would be that difficult until I started. I have chosen to start with a book that Avil advised against – and after a couple of attempts I gave up. Avil explained to me what went wrong the first time and convinced me to try again; this time following the reading strategy and using the tools she has very thoughtfully created.
This time it worked like a charm! When I looked at my own reading habits, I realized that my reading habits were mostly reactive, not proactive. If an interesting link flashed across my phone screen on Facebook, Instagram or Email, then I would read it as a reaction. I wasn't proactively making time to read books in general. I was simply reading interesting ideas that were pushed in front of me.
Avil helped me understand that the point wasn’t to swallow and digest every word and punctuation mark; it was to be fluent in the book’s basic points and to be able to argue about those points. And the better you can do it, the better you’ll be at sitting down for a short period with a book and getting the most out of it – while a thousand other books await your attention. (Emphasis Avil's)
Another key step I learnt from Avil while I was going through her reading challenge was to make notes of what I was reading. Being creative to underline, highlight and write at the end of each chapter the main points helped me a lot when going back to review what I've read before.
Reading the right books helped me learn key skills as well as develop a cultural awareness and the sensitivity needed to get along with others. Reading the right way – gave me power.
Avil is a dynamic, passionate and caring writer, coach and book-a-holic with an uncanny ability to engage audiences and motivate others to get out of their comfort zones and take on new challenges.
