This is the final installment in the series on the Gilmore Girls Reading List. One of the ways to read more books is to read books on topics that interest you. I have never been a history buff, but I learned about history by reading about people who interest me, and I learned about history through their eyes. I also was not a big fan of science fiction, but I decided that I would give it a chance and I started off with the foundation trilogy.

Although science fiction is still not my favorite genre, I find myself liking many books from that genre. Life is about exploring and taking chances. If you are reading a book and you do not like it, give yourself permission to abandon it because there are too many published books to waste your time reading something that doesn't interest you, or hold your attention.

There are many different kinds of books on the Gilmore Girls Reading List, and if you read a book a week, in over five years you would have read all the 339 books on the list. I have my own list of books that I want to read, and some of them are on the Gilmore Girls Reading List, but I will not be using this list as a guide. This post was inspired by Francine Clouden's “I Challenge You to Read 339 Books + A Free Checklist.”
