Do you love Aesop's Fables. I do because there is always a moral to the stories, and the lessons they teach are timeless. What do you think of the Aesop's Fable, the Ant and the Grasshopper ,that is below? These fables often have a moral to the story and they are so easy to read. I was reminded of the seasons of life and the natural order to things. There is a time for planting, nurturing, reaping and resting and you need all four.

In a field one summer's day a Grasshopper was hopping about, chirping and singing to its heart's content. An Ant passed by, bearing along with great toil an ear of corn he was taking to the nest.
“Why not come and chat with me,” said the Grasshopper, “instead of toiling and moiling in that way?”“I am helping to lay up food for the winter,” said the Ant, “and recommend you to do the same.”
“Why bother about winter?” said the Grasshopper; we have got plenty of food at present.” But the Ant went on its way and continued its toil. When the winter came the Grasshopper had no food and found itself dying of hunger, while it saw the ants distributing every day corn and grain from the stores they had collected in the summer. Then the Grasshopper knew:

Aesop's Fables is a timeless classic that delivers so many profound lessons that are applicable today. Today, there are so many things to distract us, and many easily lose their way because of the inability to focus on the things that truly matter. These are the grasshoppers. While you have the very successful people who focus on the things they know they must do. They work hard while others – the grasshoppers – while the time away. Their hard work pay off and they benefit from it. These successful people are the ants.
