What the psychic predicted to the writer
Have you ever visited a psychic, trying to get a glimpse into the future? In 2007, I visited a psychic with a friend. When I initially talked to the psychic, he told me to bring three things that I used all the time. At my scheduled appointment, I presented my glasses and my gold bangle bracelet, for the life of me I cannot remember the third thing.
He decided to use my glasses, since I wore them every day. The way that the process works is that hot means yes and cold means no, therefore, for any question, the object that he is holding will become either hot or cold, and that's the response to the question. And there are standard topics that psychic predict – relationships, career and money.
Holding my glasses, he said, “You haven't had much luck with men, have you?” Apparently when he was looking at my romantic relationships, my glasses got really cold. Hmm, he may be on to something here. I was supposed to find my perfect partner, hey, I'm still waiting. “Your book, Tales of People Who Get It is going to sell really well, but the sales will be slow at first, I can intervene and accelerate the process.” The visit to the psychic was $150, and with his intervention it would be substantially more, so I didn't take him up on his offer, but I am still waiting for bestseller status.
“You are going to write about 11 or 12 books, and most of them are going to sell very well, but one is going to be a runaway bestseller, and it will be inspired by God.” Who doesn't want an international bestseller? I am looking better all the time, don't you think?
“You are going to be awarded a Nobel Prize for your work.” Hurrah for Avil! ” You are also a whole brain thinker, therefore you perceive things differently from most people.” Being a whole brain thinker means that you are able to use both sides of the brain at the same time. I do believe that I am a whole brain thinker, but the problem is that I haven't mastered the art of using both sides of my brain at the same time. There are times when I am very left brain, and other times when I am very right brain, but never the twain shall meet.
It would have been very helpful if the psychic predicted to the writer not only what her future held, but what she needed to do to achieve all those wonderful predictions. I am especially interested in learning how to become a whole brain thinker, and I am sure that it is something that all of us can learn, not just the chosen few.
I purchased the home study version of the Photo Reading course from Learning Strategies, and I already indicated in a blog post that this is a course that is better suited in a class setting, or a video program, so you can see the activities to understand them. For instance, I couldn't figure out how to Photo Read an online document, the audio and written instructions were not clear enough, so I couldn't ‘see' what they were saying. Interestingly enough, I received an email from Learning Strategies informing me that they are having a course in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Paul Scheele, the creator of the program is teaching it.
In addition to the core Photo Reading course, there is a complimentary course on syntopic reading, which I have also written about – reading several books on a topic at the same time. And another course Genius Code is also offered as well, immediately after the other two.
In the Genius Code seminar, you are introduced to a process called Image Streaming, which bridges your conscious and unconscious mind, allowing you to generate an abundance of great ideas, as well as tap into “that unending flow of images and thoughts, personal to you, that flow from your mind. They contain insights and solutions to what’s going on in your life, from the silly to the mundane to the vital.” To me, Image Streaming allows you to use your whole brain, and a lot more, and if it works, can take us to a higher level where we can achieve so much more in work and life. Had the psychic told the writer, “I will teach you Image Streaming to take your life to a higher level.” And if he had explained what Image Streaming was, I would have said, “Sign me up!”
