Roosevelt, which is a variation of “The Only Thing We Have to Fear is Fear Itself,” the title of a speech he gave at his inaugural address, March 4, 1933. “The Only Thing We Have to Fear is Fear Itself” is among the speeches included in Speeches That Changed the World.
