Friendship Quotes to Ease Feelings of Hardships During Tough Times
A couple of days ago, I was playing around with Pinterest, when I noticed that the keyword phrase friendship quotes was trending. I have not done a quote post in a while because I want to narrow the focus of this blog, so I decided to stop doing certain things. But friendships are important in life and at work. Friendship is hard to define because it means different things to different people. There is also a distinction between being friendly and being someone’s friend that many do not understand.
All of this made me think that friendships are important in the workplace. Ever heard the phrase about having friends in high places? But if you think about teams, would they work more effectively if members became friends? Would becoming friends impact professionalism? Would friendships affect the cohesiveness of the group?
When you collaborate or partner with someone, and the fit is right, should the individuals work at becoming friends to strengthen the relationship? I have no answers for you, only questions. This year, August 6th is Friendship Day. Friendships are important – it has its own day to celebrate it. Friendship day was created to celebrate the friends in your life.
Take some time to reflect on the friendship quotes below. Additionally, could you learn the 10 key skills needed for future jobs, with a group of friends? Imagine if by learning the employability skills together, you could lift each other up professionally. Now, would not that strengthen and deepen the relationships between and among friends?
